John Meyer

John Clayton Mayer (born on October 16, 1977) is an American Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and guitarist. Originally from Connecticut, he briefly attended Berklee College of Music before moving to Atlanta, Georgia in 1998, where he refined his skills and began gaining a following. After originally performing mainly acoustic rock, in 2005 he made a transition towards the blues genre with the formation of the John Mayer Trio. The blues influence can also be seen on his latest studio album Continuum, which was released on September 12, 2006. Mayer won two Grammy awards at the 49th Grammy Awards in February 2007, Best Pop Vocal Album for Continuum and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for "Waiting on the World to Change."

John Mayer Turns Stand-Up Comedian, Without Jessica Simpson

Rocker John Mayer wowed fans at a performance in New York City on Saturday night (19May07) - as a stand-up comedian.
Mayer entertained the audience at the Comedy Cellar club just days after he 'split' with on/off girlfriend Jessica Simpson, although the couple has since been spotted together.

During his routine, Mayer made fun of his music and life as a singleton.

He quipped, "I don't wash my clothes to make them cleaner, I wash them to make them tighter - that's what makes me single. Guys, I don't have a washer-dryer, I have a wetter-tightener."

Jessica Simpson Ex John Mayer Moving on With Penelope Cruz?

Jessica Simpson and John Mayer are off. At least for the time being. The pair reportedly split again and many are claiming that this time it might stick. One report notes that Jess may be ready to pursue Justin Timberlake and now the New York Daily News is reporting that John may be looking to find love with Penelope Cruz.

Diaz spotted with Jessica Simpson's ex

Cameron Diaz has been spotted on a date with Jessica Simpson's ex-boyfriend in a New York restaurant.

The Charlie's Angels actress shared a romantic meal with rock musician John Mayer on Tuesday, say reports.

A friend of the star said: "This was technically not their first time hanging out. But this was the first time together like this. It's new and developing, but they like each other and it went well."

Rocker Mayer split with former lover Simpson for what was believed to be the twelfth time back in June.
